The Miners Foundry Cultural Center Mission: To preserve, enhance and utilize the historic Miners Foundry for cultural, educational and social activities.
The Miners Foundry strives to fulfill its mission every day. The largest flat-floored venue in Nevada County, the Foundry lends itself to a variety of community events including weddings, fundraisers, proms, business meetings, art shows, and live music concerts.
You may find it surprising to learn the Miners Foundry does not receive on-going financial support f rom the city or the county. Occasionally, we receive grants in support of some of our programs, however, our ability to continue to improve our beloved historic building and to serve our community depends on contributions f rom our Members.
The Miners Foundry Cultural Center is owned and operated by the Nevada County Cultural Preservation Trust, a public charitable trust, 501(c)3.
