Join the Nevada City Rancheria Nisenan Tribe and CHIRP for the 16th Annual Nisenan Heritage Day on Sunday, October 12th, from 12:00pm – 4:00pm at Miners Foundry in Nevada City.
This year’s theme, Surviving Obscurity | Wisdom Despite Erasure, honors the resilience of the Nisenan People while celebrating their living Culture, history, and future in their Ancestral Homelands.
The day will feature educational panels, speakers, discussions, and community resources. This is a free, all-ages, family-friendly, cultural event!
