After School Art Classes with Sharon Griffiths ~ Tuesdays ~ September 11 through December 11, 2012 ~ 4:00 – 5:30 p.m. ~ $200.00

Artist and teacher Sharon Griffiths will offer After School Art classes for the fall semester for artists ages 6-12.  Classes will be on Tuesday afternoons from 4:00 – 5:30 p.m. at the Miners Foundry, beginning September 11 and concluding on December 11, 2012.  The cost is $200.00 for the fall semester (all materials are provided).

Students will explore 2D and 3D projects including drawing, painting, printmaking, and paper mache sculpture.  Lessons will focus on the elements and principles of fine art using a variety of materials and techniques.   Students will complete several pieces to be presented in an artist reception on December 11, 2012.
