Allah Las ~ “Sacred Sands”
(((folkYEAH!))) presents an evening with Allah Las on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at the Miners Foundry.
Allah Las features a sound cultivated from the annals of California culture; the perfect mixture of the sands, the seas, the streets, and the cities of the golden state. This is a standing / dancing concert.
Tickets are $15.00 in Advance and $20.00 at the Door. Doors open at 8:00 p.m. and the show begins at 9:00 p.m.
Tickets are available online, by phone or in person at the Miners Foundry, or in person at Briar Patch Co-Op. Ticketing fees may apply.
Los Angeles based garage rock quartet Allah Las is comprised of Miles Michaud, Pedrum Siadatian, Spencer Dunham, and Matthew Correia.
Three of the four band members were working in the L.A. branch of the legendary record store Amoeba when the group formed in 2008, and they spent a great deal of time researching the garage and psychedelic sounds of the 60’s.
The Allah Las sound combines the harmonies and pop hooks of the British invasion, the trippy atmosphere of West Coast psychedelic bands, and the raw swagger of countless American garage rockers.
(((folkYEAH!))) Presents is a Northern California based boutique music and events curator and presenter.
