AirAligned Aerial Dance Group

AirAligned aerial dance group was formed in 2004 by artistic director Tresa Honaker.  Unlike traditional circus performers, Air Aligned members consist of formally trained dancers, acrobats, and martial artists.  Their annual sold-out productions are beautifully choreographed and athletically executed with guest artists from Los Angeles and the Bay Area.  They are an active component of the Nevada County dance scene with yearly performances in The Starz Show, Winterdance, and benefit shows.  The AirAligned Academy was established in 2008.

In addition to producing the debut performance of AXIS Dance Company in Nevada County, Miners Foundry is also inaugurating the Osborn/Woods Hall as a professional dance venue.  The new wooden floor installed in the Osborn/Woods Hall beautifies the hall, lightens the room, improves acoustics, and provides an elegant and professional space for  dance companies.

The Mission of the Miners Foundry Cultural Center is to preserve, enhance and utilize the historic Miners Foundry for cultural, educational and social activities.   The Foundry is a non profit organization, pleased to support the Nevada County dance community.
