Chris Robinson Brotherhood ~ Tuesday, May 5, 2015
Chris Robinson Brotherhood ~ “Shore Power”
(((folkYEAH!))) Presents An Evening with Chris Robinson Brotherhood on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at the Miners Foundry. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the show begins at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $28.50 in Advance and $31.50 at the Door. Tickets are available online, in person or by phone at the Miners Foundry, or in person at Briar Patch Co-Op. Ticket fees may apply. Come celebrate Cinco de Mayo with CRB!
The Chris Robinson Brotherhood is touring in support of its latest release, Phosphorescent Harvest. Praised by Rolling Stone as “at once quirky, trippy, soulful and downright magnetic,” it’s the band’s third long-playing album for Silver Arrow Records.
Robinson declares, “We’ve created a piece of rock ‘n’ roll here. People can look to us and rest assured the genre is alive and well.
While Chris Robinson had been the primary instigator behind the 14 compositions that populated the band’s first two releases, this latest effort documents his burgeoning songwriting partnership with Neal Casal.
It also finds The CRB refining it’s approach within the studio. The band spent the better part of 2013 crafting a tried and true studio album, utilizing the studio to harness their full sonic vision. Their expansive sense of space and texture has never been so fully realized until now.
(((folkYEAH!))) Presents is a Northern California based boutique music and events curator and presenter.
(((folkYEAH!))) shows are highly regarded and carefully planned affairs with an emphasis on presenting each event as a one of a kind experience for both the artist and the attendees.

ABOUT DANK

Moira McLaughlin
The DANK Movement is an artist’s collective in Nevada City, CA.
It was founded in 2013 by a group of ten artists interested in collaboration, the rural ideal, post-Great Recession social issues, and the anti-urban aesthetic grounded in the legacy of the California Gold Rush.
The name DANK comes from the ubiquitous wet wood smell that permeates Nevada City, which is situated on the banks of Deer Creek.
It is also a nod to one of the area’s premier exports: cannabis.
And it’s an acronym for Do Art Now Kids.
