“Clara and The Nutcracker” is a delightful abbreviated version of the classic holiday tale by E.T.A. Hoffmann, featuring choreography by Royal Ballet’s famous choreographer Peter Wright.
Holt Ballet Conservatory’s “short story” tells the tale of Clara, whose Christmas present of a toy nutcracker solider inspires a magical dream for Clara, and an opportunity for classically trained ballet dancers to showcase and share their carefully crafted talent.
Holt Ballet Conservatory opened in 2011 and specializes in traditional classical ballet training for students age 7 to adult. HBC offers outstanding classical ballet training by following a comprehensive syllabus endorsed by the Vaganova training method, the American Ballet Academy syllabus and the California State Framework for the arts.
