Join Us in Championing the Mission of the Miners Foundry!

You won’t find a place like the Miners Foundry Cultural Center anywhere else in the world. To be sure, many other towns have historic buildings that inspire us with their architecture, magnificent decoration, and remarkable craftsmanship. What sets the Miners Foundry Cultural Center, the largest flat-floor historic venue in Nevada County, apart is the exciting unpredictability of what happens here.

Medieval Feast (Seven Hills Middle School)

On any given day you might find fire dancers rehearsing in the Stone Hall, a middle school transforming the building into a medieval castle, young artists displaying their work in the Upper Gallery, a rock concert sound check in the Osborn/Woods Hall, rehearsal for a wedding, an acting workshop in the Conference Room, a nonprofit setting up their fundraiser, or a high school senior shoeing a horse for their senior project.  Such diversity welcomes people from all walks of life and reflects the vitality and creativity of our community.

We are reminded of the people who worked tirelessly, fueled by love of place and a dream, and know they bequeathed to us this building as well as the passion to continue moving forward. We are eternally grateful to them, and individuals like you honor their vision because your ongoing support of the Miners Foundry Cultural Center ensures a vibrant future for the arts and culture in our community.

The Miners Foundry Cultural Center’s programs and historic preservation are funded, in part, by revenue generated from building rentals, however individuals also play an essential role in maintaining our existing programming, expanding our offerings and ensuring the Foundry continues to enrich us for many decades to come.
