Update:  August 6, 2021

Due to the air quality forecasts for tomorrow, the Miners Foundry Cultural Center has decided to postpone Jerry Bash. We are saddened to postpone, but feel it is the best decision for the health and safety of the bands, our patrons, volunteers, and staff.

The new date will be announced shortly, so please watch your email and social media for that information! Tickets will be automatically transferred to the new date, and patrons will be emailed with that information as well as other options.

We appreciate your patience and understanding and look forward to celebrating Jerry Bash with you soon!

Sincerely,

Gretchen Bond, and the Miners Foundry Team

 The Bands

Deadbeats

The Deadbeats get that music is best live.

The band made their debut at Nevada City’s renowned Mad Dogs and Englishmen Pub on August 4, 1994 and immediately knew they were on to something – a certain indefinable sound and feel that captures the essence of a Grateful Dead concert.

Over the years band members have rotated but the core group continues with great shows and big crowds.

The current lineup includes Tom Menig, Gary Campus, Eric Menig, Rob Kopp, Glenn Tucker, Peter Wilson, and Jenn Knapp.

The Deadbeats play the Dead’s songbook with a balance of improvisation and honoring the song.

Wolf Jett

The Wolf Jett sound will make you dance, sing, and possibly even howl with roots that run deep into the soul and help you heal from the heaviness of life.

It’s a sound celebrating perserverance, infusing folk, blues, americana, and soul into what can only be described as “Cosmic Mountain Music”.

Frontman Chris Jones (Scary Little Friends) was born in the south and raised in California and his songs combine the best of both worlds to create a vibe that is fresh, but immediately familiar to a broad audience. He is joined by long-time musical collaborator Jon Payne on drums, Jeff Kissell on bass, and Will Fourt on dobro, guitar, and pedal steel.

Kyle Ledson & Friends

Kyle Ledson grew up in the Grass Valley area playing mandolin and guitar, particularly Jamgrass and Psychedelic Folk.

His new album “Left It All Behind” features his original music along with members of Yonder Mountain String Band, ALO, and Hot Buttered Rum.

Kyle will be joined by his good friends D’jango Ruckrich and Mei Lin Heirendt.
