The Miners Foundry is pleased to present John Doe with Howe Gelb, on Wednesday, September 28, 2016.  John Doe is an American singer, songwriter, actor, poet, guitarist, and bass player who co-founded the much praised LA punk band X. Howe Gelb is an American singer, songwriter, musician, and producer known for his blend of Indie Rock, Americana, and Alt-Country. Limited Reserve is a seat in the rows closest to the stage.  General Admission is the standing / dancing section.  Doors open at 7:00 p.m. and the show begins at 8:00 p.m.  Tickets are $20 for General Admission, $25 for Limited Reserve, and $25 at the Door.  Tickets may be purchased online, by phone, or in person at the Miners Foundry, or in person at Briar Patch Co-Op.  Ticketing fees may apply.

 

John Doejohn-doe is an American singer, songwriter, actor, poet, guitarist, and bass player.

Doe co-founded the much praised LA punk band X, of which is his still an active member.

His musical performances and compositions span the rock, punk, country, and folk music genres.

As an actor, he has dozens of television appearances and several movies to his credit, including the role of Jeff Parker in the television series Roswell.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Howe Gelbhowe-gelb is an American singer, songwriter, musician, and producer known for his blend of Indie Rock, Americana, and Alt-Country, as well as his 1970’s electro-rock band Giant Sandworms.  Gelb’s approach to music is collaborative and he has recorded with Giant Sand, as well as solo work and a number of side projects including KT Tunstall’s fifth studio album Invisible Empire // Crescent Moon.
