Project Wild Edges

Project Wild Edges presents Joy Harjo’s poem “A Map to the Next World” performed through spoken word, music, and dance as a work in progress.  The cast has positioned themselves as members of society, out on the town for a social hour.  During this familiar scene, the performers slowly warp out of the norm and deliver an untypical and timely message.  Joy Harjo is our National Poet Laureate and is of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation.  Project Wild Edges is funded by a generous grant from California Humanities.

Featuring performances by Raquel Santiago Boluda, Eileen Jorgensen, Azriel LeMarca, Juliet Lin, Marni Marshall, and Marcy Risque.
