Sierra Nevada Alliance Community Hoedown

The Community Hoedown will include live music, a presentation by renowned author and keynote speaker Tim Palmer, interactive art, a silent auction, a raffle, environmental awards ceremony, and a no-host bar. Sierra locals, the Bison Bluegrass Band, will take the stage during this festive gathering with Sierra Nevada Alliance member groups, our AmeriCorps graduates, and the community. We are excited to gather with our partners and supporters to celebrate where we have been and where we are going as an organization! It is sure to be a good time!

Reception admission is included in all conference tickets, and also available to the public for $10 in advance and $12 at the door. Click here to purchase tickets to the Hoedown.

Community Hoedown keynote speaker, Tim Palmer, is the award-winning author of 25 books about rivers, conservation, and adventure travel. He is a photographer of America’s natural landscapes and a dynamic public speaker with inspiring slide shows about a range of environmental topics.
