The Miners Foundry is pleased to present Skerryvore on Saturday, February 24, 2024. Bar opens at 7:00 p.m. and the Show begins at 8:00 p.m.
With a mix of fiddle, accordions, pipes and whistles, alongside guitar and vocals, underpinned by driving bass, drums and keys, Skerryvore represent the best in contemporary Scottish traditional music. Their seven studio albums demonstrate the wide range of influences the individual musicians bring to the mix – a unique fusion of folk, trad, rock, and Americana, with even some jazz! They’ll be performing hits from their latest album release, Tempest!

Whiskey Tasting! | $55
- Add a pre-concert whiskey tasting hosted by members of Skerryvore to your ticket!
- The tasting includes 4-5 types of whiskey and an intimate acoustic performance before the main concert.
- The tasting is from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. and will perfectly set the mood for the concert to follow.
- Whiskey tasting admission is $55 per person.

Three singles from the latest album ‘Tempus’, released in April 2023, all featured on the BBC Radio 2 new music playlist, and the album went to number 1 in both the Official Scottish Album and UK Folk Albums charts, and entered the top 40 in the Official UK Charts. Skerryvore took their Tempus Tour to audiences across the UK, Europe and USA, with their unique fusion appealing to a wider mix of age groups and tastes.
