SUMMARY:Goblin Forge: Dungeons & Dragons Weekly Meet & Summer Series
DESCRIPTION:Tickets & Info\n \n\n\n\n“The Stone Hall at the Miners Foundry feels like the castle of Nevada City. With its massive stone walls\, giant fireplace\, and Gold Rush history\, it’s the perfect place for fantasy adventures to come alive.\nEvery Tuesday from 4–6 pm\, we “light the forge” and gather friends and family to feast and adventure together. Melanya Gonshorowski from Sweet Magnolias prepares nourishing snacks each week from organically grown carrots and locally picked apples to wooden platters filled with cheese\, crackers\, and figs for everyone to enjoy!\nWe are incredibly lucky to have this space to gather\, a castle filled with friendship\, imagination\, and good memories.” Guillaume Habekoss\, Forge Master of Goblin Forge.\n \nThe summer series is structured as four separate five-day camps running throughout the summer at the Miners Foundry. Each camp offers a complete Dungeons & Dragons adventure\, making it easy for both new and returning players to join along the way. Many campers return for multiple sessions.\n \n2026 Camp Sessions● Session 1: June 15–19● Session 2: June 29–July 3● Session 3: July 13–17● Session 4: July 27–31 \n\nCamp runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily\, with optional early drop-off and late pickup available to help accommodate working families. A typical day includes a two-hour morning D&D session\, followed by outdoor adventures\, lunch\, and cooperative games like Capture the Flag\, Poison Dart Frog\, and Chaos Tag. Campers then return for another two-hour session or creative workshop.\n \n\nGoblin Forge D&D Summer Day Camp is a five-day immersive Dungeons & Dragons experience that goes far beyond a single night of gameplay. Each camp day includes four hours of collaborative D&D adventures alongside two hours of outdoor activities\, movement\, and creative exploration.\n\n \nThe longer format allows kids to develop their characters\, build friendships\, and experience epic story lines together throughout the week. D&D-themed snacks\, creative workshops\, giveaways\, and guest experiences help bring the magic to life. Last year\, an “Elven Wizard” taught players to craft magical fireball scrolls with parchment and wax seals\, while members of the local LARP community arrived in costume as giant spiders and a Dark Queen for an unforgettable live-action battle.\n \n\nOur Dungeon Masters help set the tone for collaboration\, creativity\, and inclusion by running multiple tables designed for different experience levels\, allowing kids to learn at their own pace and comfort level.\n\n \nExperienced players often help teach newer adventurers\, creating a supportive environment where learning becomes part of the adventure itself. In many ways\, the community grows through positive mentorship\, with older or more experienced players helping guide and encourage the next generation of players.\n\n\n Tickets & Info

The band made their debut at Nevada City’s renowned Mad Dogs and Englishmen Pub on Aug. 4\, 1994. Over the years\, band members have rotated but the core group continues with great shows and big crowds.  \nThe Deadbeats play the Dead’s songbook with a balance of improvisation and honoring the song. \nWOLF JETT \nThe sound of Wolf Jett will make you dance\, sing… and possibly even howl! \nTheir all-original songs infuse folk\, soul and Americana into what they call “Cosmic Mountain Music.” Co-founded by two life-long friends and musical partners\, Wolf Jett combines the southern-fried vocals and guitar of Tennessee-born front man Chris Jones with Jon Payne’s endlessly groovy drums. Currently performing with Duncan Shipton (bass)\, Allyson Makuch (vocals)\, Rory Cloud (guitar)\, and Alex Benjamin (keys/percussion). \nCALTUCKY \nBorn in the foothills of Northern California\, Caltucky is a progressive bluegrass band forging a sound as wild and genuine as the landscapes they come from. Merging the technical precision of traditional string music with the improvisational freedom of jam and Americana\, Caltucky brings a modern spark to mountain-born roots. \nLas Niñas Muertas (The Dead Girls) \nCome out early\, grab a good spot on the park lawn and enjoy Nevada County favorite Juliet Gobert as she leads this all female ensemble on an acoustic voyage through the songs of Robert Hunter & Jerry Garcia\, Bob Weir & John Barlow and other beloved traditional songs in the Grateful Dead tradition. \nFAQs \nADA ParkingThere are a limited number of first-come first-served ADA parking spaces available at Pioneer Park. \nPets \nWell behaved pets on leashes are allowed.
