Holiday Decorating at the Foundry ~ Wish List

The Miners Foundry is looking for donations, volunteers, and creative ideas to deck the halls this year. Contact event coordinator Kat Kress [email protected] to add your name to the volunteer list or call her at 265-5040.

Donations: Drop off at the Miners Foundry Box Office (entrance at the top of the parking lot, 325 Spring St, Nevada City). Dates: Wednesday, November 16 through Saturday, November 19 from 12:00 – 5:00 pm. Contact: Jenni Bond at the box office with donation questions, (530) 265-5462.

Nature:
Pine cones – dried and pitch-free, especially the large Sugar Pines.
Mistletoe
Birds nests
Holly – especially the variegated (striped leaf) variety
Pine branches, garlands, and wreaths
Antlers – small or medium size

Floral wire – narrow, easy to bend kind
Floral tape
Ornament hooks
Wreath forms – one 4’, one 3’, and three 18”
White card stock
Red or black ink pads
Red or black magic markers
Quart size mason jars
2” – 4” white unscented candles
Epsom salt
White lights with brown cords

Volunteer: On Tuesday November 22 come help transform the historic building for the holiday season. Adults: 9am – 12pm. Children welcome for a craft project 12 – 3pm. Contact Kat Kress [email protected] at 265-5040 to add your name to the list.

Pianist Wanted: Sunday, December 11, 1 – 5pm to accompany Tamara Fouyer singing Christmas/Jazz standards during the Children’s Shopping event. This commitment also includes rehearsal time. Contact Tamara Fouyer at [email protected].
