LIMITED TICKETS AVAILABLE AT THE DOOR, ADVANCED SALES HAVE CLOSED
The Miners Foundry Cultural Center is thrilled to welcome back one of the most celebrated country-folk performers of her day, singer/songwriter Iris DeMent. At the age of three, her devoutly religious family moved to California, where she grew up singing gospel music; during her teenaged years, however, she was first exposed to country, folk, and R&B, drawing influence from Loretta Lynn, Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, and Joni Mitchell. DeMent first began composing songs at the age of 25. Honing her skills at open-mic nights, and won almost universal acclaim thanks to her pure, evocative vocal style and spare, heartfelt song craft. Doors open at 6:30 and the music begins at 8:15 p.m. Tickets are $30.00 for General Admission at the Door. Tickets are available when doors open on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information please call the Nevada City Box Office at 530-265-5462.
I have three limited tickets to see Iris on Dec, 1st. Is there a date after which I can pick up my tickets at the box office prior to the concert? My fellow attendees will be running late as usual (sis & wife) so I want them to have their tickets in hand. Thanks for the help.
