Runway for Hope Fashion Show ~ Sunday, April 22, 2012 ~ 1:00 p.m. ~ $25.00

Runway for Hope Fashion Show will be held on April 22, 2012 to benefit Community Recovery Resources. This unique show, held on Earth Day, celebrates our healthy, strong, and diverse local community. The event features locally grown food prepared by area chefs from Latitudes; Summer Thymes; Diego’s; and Bootleggers.Boutique clothing and jewelry exclusively from local merchants highlights the our diverse local retailers, including Judi’s of Nevada City, Yuba Blue, Abstract, ScotchBroom, Cottonfield, Off the Hook Bridal, and Mill Street Clothing. Elisa Parker, of See Jane Do, will serve as emcee. The event includes a silent auction, with art, jewelry, clothing, and gift certificates from local businesses and restaurants. Runway for Hope, started in 1999 by volunteers, has become an annual favorite that benefits recovery services for women and children and programs for adolescents.

Tickets are on sale now and are $25.00.  The ticket price includes a luncheon and dessert, silent auction, and fashion show.
