Born and raised in Alleghany, a small gold mining town in the Sierra Nevadas, Jenn Knapp inherited her grandfathers 67’ Martin guitar and has been making sweet music with it ever since. As front woman and songwriter to rock bands the “Cheatin Buzzies” and “BuckStar”, she has released 6 albums, played hundreds of shows and inspired audiences throughout the region. Music and it’s power to tell story and invoke true connection is her passion. After watching the Ken Burns documentary “Country Music” Jenn was inspired to dig in to the roots of American Music, thus creating a new dimension of her career to share with audiences.

American Roots Music spans the early 20th century with artists such as The Carter Family, the Singing Brakeman and grandfather of country music Jimmie Rodgers and Hank Williams  into more modern artists such a Willie Nelson, Dolly Parton, Bruce Springsteen and a growing repertoire of many others. Do not miss the opportunity to share an evening with a singer who brings it all to the music that brought us together.
