Ghost Pines formed in the fall of 2011, practicing in an attic at the end of an otherwise unremarkable alley in downtown Nevada City. With Jacob Bradford on drums, Andrew Collins on bass, and Robbie Landsburg on guitar and vocals, the band began forging their unique approach to music with the raw sounds of indie grunge rock fused with the textural melodies of psychedelic math rock.  Inspired by the diverse music scene of Nevada County and surrounding areas, Ghost Pines follow in the footsteps of other experimental rockers native to Northern California, while simultaneously forging their own path through the sonic landscapes they explore.

Ghost Pines

The space rock collective based out of Nevada known as Bazooka Zoo is all about creating groovy tunes and discovering new sounds.  The fellows in the Zoo bridge genre boundaries and speak across generations.  Their goal is to supply the public with steady doses of FREE and RADICAL music. We imagine our products and our members as creatures in a Zoo… So unique and multidimensional.  We share this Habitat together and create mystical jams with whoever can hang.  The Zoo continues to push the boundaries of sound and genre mashing excellence today.  Stay tuned for a far-out experience.

Bazooka Zoo

New North San Juan power trio Grind Stone, harnesses the power of Stone Core music while playing original, heavy, primal, rock.

Chris French is a moody and dynamic vocalist formerly of local favorites The Still Sea.  He will be performing an acoustic set.

Magician Nick Fedoroff, who is best known for his astonishing close-up magic, often performs at corporate events both nationally and abroad.  A master of elegant old-school magic enhanced with a contemporary spin, Fedoroff’s slick and graceful manipulation of cards and coins is simply mesmerizing.  Just when the audience thinks they’ve seen it all, Fedoroff promises to send them spinning into a world where nothing is as it seems.

Honeysweet is a Soul, R&B, Funk, Groove, and Jazz quintet that resides in Nevada City and Grass Valley, in the Sierra foothills of California. Upon their formation, they already had a large local following and they continue to collect dedicated fans while rocking parties and venues around Northern California.

The Whiskerman (Oakland) The youngest of three brothers and the son of two musicians, Graham Patzner didn’t have much choice. Starting on piano at age five and then moving on to violin, trumpet and guitar, the Whiskerman singer and front-man has cultivated a unique sound that is hard to pinpoint. His voice ranges from smoky to soaring, while his songs span a wide array of moods and genres, yet always remain soulful. Behind him is a tight band that includes brother Lewis Patzner (Judgement Day, Devotionals) on cello, Will Lawrence on bass, Nick Cobbett on drums, and Charles Lloyd (Cash Pony) on guitar and sitar. Collectively they form Whiskerman, and they are quickly becoming a force in the San Francisco Bay Area.

The Lampshade Tango (Auburn): Andy Z and Cap’n Mike came from the frozen lakes and snow-covered roads of Michigan and settled in gold country to forge their prosperity. They joined forces with the Kitchen, a native to these hills, on a special Halloween night at an Argentinian Tango Ball. The rest is illustrious, speculative history.

There’s an entire world of music out there to love and explore. Each of us brings something a little different to the mix. We love playing in many different styles and enjoy meeting and sharing sounds and ideas with musicians and music lovers everywhere.
