Mykal Rose 2
As a solo artist or as a member of Black Uhuru, Mykal Rose has achieved great success throughout his career, even as different Jamaican musical styles have phased in and out of popularity.  As a member of Black Uhuru, Mykal was awarded the first reggae Grammy award for the album Anthem.  As a solo artist, Mykal regularly tours the United States and Europe and has maintained his Jamaican fan base with hit singles on the island and abroad.  He is a modern roots singer, and fits perfectly into today’s scene.  With a glorious past and a wide-open future, Mykal Rose is truly a reggae superstar.

Perfect Giddimani cut his first tune as Little Ninja before settling on his current stage name due to his perfectionism as a recording artist.  Perfect began deejaying in the sound system Trend Setter from Bamboo where he recorded his first dubplates.  The first song to break was “Lock Me Up” in 2004  but Perfect’s style was really revealed with “Handcart Bwoy” in 2005.   His first album, “Giddimani”, was released the following year and included many of his first singles.  Perfect’s second album “Born Dead With Life” was released in 2008.
