Love and Light ~ “Heart”
Insect Tribe and Ooze System present: Cross Pollination, a microcosmic journey, on Friday, November 14, 2014 at the Miners Foundry. Gather to explore the sights and sounds of the human – insect connection. Everyone is encouraged to attend dressed and designed as their favorite insect or flower. This event will be filmed, so bring your finest attire and attitude.
Musical guests include Love and Light, Pega5us, Ra So, Sambadrop, Eminent Bee, and Sonik Gallixsee. A tea lounge will be provided by The Tea Temple. A no host bar will be provided by the Miners Foundry. The event is from 7:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. Tickets are $20.00 in Advance and $25.00 at the door. Advance tickets are available online or at Briar Patch Co-Op.
Cross Pollination: A microcosmic journey to explore the human-insect connection. The theme spotlights the art and the science of the Microcosm and its importance to our society. The event’s decor, multimedia projections, costumes, and performances will showcase the amazing designs, habits and beauty of insects, spiders, flowers, etc. We have scheduled some of the region’s top musical acts, each of whom as an unique interest in insects. The event will be recorded and webcast during an international event to raise awareness about honeybees, pollinators, and other Microcosmic life forms and their connection and influence on our culture.
