Paul Emery Music and the Miners Foundry Presents a Swinging Blues New Year’s Eve Dance Party on Tuesday, December 31, 2013. Ring in 2014 with Jamal Walker Band and Shay Dillon! Doors open at 8:30 p.m. and the show begins at 9:00 p.m. Tickets are $25.00 General Admission and $35.00 Limited Reserve. Limited Reserve tickets include table seating and a complimentary glass of champagne. Founded in 2007, the Jamal Walker Band (formerly known as Loose Change Blues Band), has become a favorite in the Northern California foothills music scene. This group of musical veterans play a variety of blues, soul, and rock n roll tunes, plus powerful original songs guaranteed to get you dancing and singing along. Jamal Walker Band puts on a high energy rockin’ show that is sure to keep you dancing all night!
Shay Dillon ~ “Holdin’ On”
The songs Shay Dillon writes are about the everyday struggles with life and love, the common thread of the lonely, jilted, the lost and the found. Her debut album Through the Fire was described by Christine Bode of Party in Kingston as “a blues, jazz, R&B, and soul collection of expertly crafted, hot blooded songs that are marvelously highlighted by Shay’s sensual, sultry voice.” Even though Shay has been around long enough to pay her dues, she is considered one of the newest Indie talents on the block.
