Eileen Blodgett, resident artist as AsIf Studios in Grass Valley, has studied art on the East and West coasts, as well as in Japan. She holds a B.S. in Art Education and an M.A. from San Francisco State. She enjoys sharing her love of drawing painting, and printmaking with students in local counties.
A student of the world, Eileen cherishes the multicultural experiences and wonderful people that have formed her life. She takes inspiration from all that surrounds her, including the beautiful landscapes of the Sierra, the warmth of the people she knows, the spirits of things and lives passed, and mysteries yet to be explored.
“Art is footprints from the soul – and it’s never too late to take that walk.”
The Mission of the Miners Foundry Cultural Center is to preserve, enhance and utilize the historic Miners Foundry for cultural, educational and social activities.
