Music In the Mountains Presents: An Evening Aboard the H.M.S. Pinafore ~ Friday, April 26, 2013 ~ 6:00 p.m. Doors / 7:30 p.m. Concert ~ $85.00

A night of laughs galore, luxurious food, and a rollicking performance of Gilbert & Sullivan by the Music In the Mountains Chorus!

MIM Chorale

The adventure begins with a pre-concert cocktail party, followed by a performance of Gilbert & Sullivan’s H.M.S. Pinafore or “The Lass Who Loved a Sailor” from Choral Director Ryan Murray and the MIM Chorus. The chorus will be accompanied by an instrumental ensemble featuring Paul Perry on piano and guest soloists including Carrie Hennessey, Jonathan Smucker, Daniel Cilli, and Heather McFadden.

Enjoy bountiful fruits of the sea, delights from the land, a variety of cheeses, and sweet endings by Chef Antonio Ayesteran.  The evening will also feature specialty cocktails and a silent auction.

 

Prepare to set sail Friday, April 26, 2013.  Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and the concert begins at 7:30 p.m.  Tickets are $85 per person and are available at the Music In the Mountains Box Office, (530) 265-6124.  RSVP by April 17, 2013.

The Mission of the Miners Foundry Cultural Center is to preserve, enhance and utilize the historic Miners Foundry for cultural, educational and social activities.   The Foundry is a non profit organization, pleased to support other area non profits, such as Music in the Mountains.
