Night of Giving ~ Saturday, December 20, 2014
Envisioned as a hometown holiday party for the entire community, Night of Giving will return to the Miners Foundry on Saturday, December 20, 2014. The evening will feature remarks from people who have benefited from and supported Hospitality House since 2005.
An extraordinary new development this year will be online streaming of the event, complete with lie performances and interviews.
Performers include Beaucoup Chapeaux, Paul Kamm & Eleanore MacDonald, Nory Fussell, Heather MacAdam, Steve Sanfield, Tumble, Stardust Cowboys, Mountain Laurel Duo, The Movement Alliance, Ishaan Reyna, Rod Baggett and the Nevada Union High School Choir, Achilles Humperheads and dozens of other great performing artists.
Generous anonymous friends of Hospitality House have offered to match all non-corporate donations up to $200 made at Night of Giving.
The music begins at 4:00 p.m. and runs nonstop until 10:00 p.m. Food will be available for a small donation, and drinks will be served at a no-host bar. Suggested donation for admission is $20.00. Children 12 and are under are free.
Hospitality House is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit community shelter for the Homeless in Nevada County, primarily funded by individual donations.
