Small Works

A new exhibit premieres Friday, November 25, 2016 at the Osborn/Woods Gallery at the Miners Foundry.  The show, entitled Small Works, features paintings, prints, greeting cards, art-to-wear clothing, pottery, sculpture, and jewelry pieces.  The exhibition will run from November 25 to December 28, 2016 at the Osborn/Woods Gallery, open every weekend from 12:00 – 5:00 p.m. and Victorian Christmas Wednesdays from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m.  The show features 13 artists, and is geared twoards smaller items for holiday shopping and gifts.

Artists included in the show are:

Juliette Morris Williams, Al Martinez, Celine Adrianna Negrete, Lisa Deniz, Erin Adamski, Kyle Kjoller, Ursula Xanthe Young, Rebecca Harris Floeter, Estella Straatsma, Doug Masury, Ivan Farmer, Jim Lee, and Duncan Linthicum.

A new exhibit opens June 2, 2017 at the Osborn/Woods Gallery at the Miners Foundry.  Myth explores the nuances of life we may find puzzling, curious or downright confusing.  A wonderful, colorful show featuring paintings, sculpture, jewelry, and lots of ideas!  Artists in the show are Sheila Cameron, Miriam Morris, Jim Lee, Duncan Linthicum, Al Martinez, Jenny Snyder, Lyssa Skeahan, Erin Adamski, and Juliette Morris Williams.

Join us for the Artis reception at the Nevada City First Friday Art Walk, Friday, June 2 from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

LIGHT & SHADOW

A new exhibit opens July 7, 2017 at the Osborn/Woods Gallery at the Miners Foundry.  Light and Shadow explores the play of light, the psychology of shadow, as well as the pure enjoyment of the two in their essence.  Light and Shadow features paintings, sculpture and jewelry.  Artists in the show are Miriam Morris, Ruth Chase Boudreaux , Gene Crowe, Jim Lee, Lori Lachman, Jennifer Snyder, Kyle Kjoller, and Juliette Morris Williams.

Join us for the Artist Reception at the Nevada City First Friday Artwalk, Friday, July 7, 2017 from 6:00-9:00p.m.  In addition to our normal hours, the Gallery will also be open for all Summer Nights with live music outside.

The show will be open on weekends with new summer hours, Saturday and Sunday from 12-3pm, closing July 26, 2017.
