The Yuba River Charter School Education Foundation proudly presents Moondance 2016 on Saturday, February 20th. All proceeds benefit Yuba River Charter School.
Midnight at the Oasis will feature Aerialist Elana of AirAligned Dance Group, Bellydance Artistry of Damkianna, and a special performance by Dirtwire featuring David Satori of Beats Antique and Evan Fraser. Barter, bid, and buy at the moonlight bazaar and enjoy hand crafted cocktails and exotic cuisine. Doors open at 5:30p.m. Tickets are $35 in Advance and $50 at the Door.
Moondance 2014 is the 10th Annual Auction, parent party, and fundraiser for Yuba River Charter School. YRCS is celebrating its 20th Anniversary this year as the first public Waldorf charter school in the United States. Moondance will host a casual Cajun cuisine dinner, complimentary champagne, plus hundreds of silent auction items, exquisite get-a-ways and adventures. Top off the evening with the renowned Brazilian-flavored Boca do Rio, sure to make you dance the night away. Come celebrate and raise funds in support of public Waldorf education in Nevada County.

The San Francisco band Boca do Rio takes its name from the Portuguese “mouth of the river”, the place where myriad streams and sources converge into one powerful, flowing, physical energy. Kevin Welch, Boca do Rio’s leader, has assembled a superb team of Brazilian and American musicians to give voice to his musica organica compositions. Boco do Rio’s style is explicitly influenced by connections to Brazil but filtered through the sensibilities of their California base.
Moondance 2013, a benefit for Yuba River Charter School will be held at the Miners Foundry on Saturday, February 23, 2013. Doors open at 6:00p.m. The event features a live & silent auction, champagne toast, fabulous food by Blue Ginger Catering, and Help! a tribute to the Beatles. Dance! Dine! Bid! Tickets are $25.00 and are available at My Favorite Things, Briar Patch Co-Op, and at Yuba River Charter School.
