The Miners Foundry is pleased to present The Deadbeats and Mystafya for a special reunion concert on Friday, February 19, 2016. Doors open at 8:00 p.m. and the show begins at 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $20 in Advance and $25 at the Door. Tickets are available online, by phone, or in person at the Miners Foundry, or in person at Briar Patch Co-Op. Ticketing fees may apply.
The Deadbeats formed during the Summer of 1994 on the notion they could pull off some reasonable Grateful Dead covers. Soon it was apparent the band was on to something, a certain indefinable sound and feel that really captures the essence of a Dead show. Though band members have come and gone over the years, Tom, Paul, and Gary have remained the core of the band, providing a solid continuity to the Deadbeat sound.
Mystafya is Nevada County’s longest running and most successful reggae band, with a major impact on the local and world music scene. Among the Northern California reggae heavy hitters, Mystafya has stunned audiences in both clubs and outdoor arenas. Through the years, Mystafya has solidified its claim as one of Northern California’s top reggae bands.
