Dearest Nevada County friends and family,

This fall Jumpsuit Records is teaming up with The Chamber of Commerce, The City of Nevada City, KVMR, FONC (Futurists of Nevada County), Heartbass for a a very exciting fundraising event. 100% of the proceeds will go toward the costs associated with creating our very own TOWN SQUARE IN NEVADA CITY: a place for our community to gather, connect, support local business, and strengthen our village each day.

Through events like Hot Summer Nights, Victorian Christmas & Yuba Village Building Convergence, many in this community have experienced Nevada City’s Commercial Street as a walking plaza / town square. Just imagine what life would be like with a year round plaza / town square in the heart of Nevada City. A team of local businesses, non-profit organizations, city officials, and activated citizens are weaving together to set this plan in motion & this is our official kick off party!

Friday, November 3rd.

Mark Your calendars. Let’s celebrate & co-create a town square together!

Big thanks to Ayla NereoBrian Parks, and Ryan Herr for offering their musical talents pro bono! Reinette Senum & Brian Hartman for stepping up to help promote this community event. The Futurists of Nevada County (FONC) for organizing the town panel, Scott Howard for the awesome flyer design and Mollie Hull for a an amazing photo. All of you guys rock!

And of course YOU. Yea, YOU reading this. We know many of you guys are as stoked about this as we are. These kinds of events can only work with big community involvement, so if you’d like to raise your hand to be involved in the production of this night of community, fun and inspiration please shoot Brian Hartman a message.

❤️ Big love & appreciation for this community we call home ❤️

About

The Polish Ambassador (real name David Sugalski) is raising the bar for what it means to be a professionally touring musician. Sure, the electronic musician lays claim to producing the sweetest beats this side of the Milky Way Galaxy, but the world’s funkiest diplomat is also using his popularity to steer the millennial generation toward a nourishing and sustainable way of relating with art, community and the planet. From birthing the Permaculture Action Movement (a movement where the energy of show/festival goers is catalyzed into community action), to launching a Village Building Convergence in his hometown to creating a program where nutritious beverage options are available at music venues on a routed TPA tour, the ambassador is using his clout to make real, tangible change, and along the way inspiring hundreds of thousands.

Kaminanda

Kaminanda’s ever-evolving sound is a playground of original Midtempo grooves, tribal rhythms, Psy-Dub, and lush downtempo textures. His music is designed to take the listener/dancer on a journey traversing landscapes reflecting a myriad of diverse influences; a kaleidoscope of warm melodies and twisting, winding compositions. With six albums in his repertoire, this organic spaceship of frequencies balances musicality and ethereal soundscapes to evoke a deeper and hypnotic experience.
