Stage Kiss

BUY TICKETS

Sierra Stages and the Miners Foundry will present Stage Kiss on Wednesday, October 25, 2017.  Stage Kiss, written by Sarah Ruhl and directed by Jeffrey Mason, is the next installment of Theater By the Book, a series of informal play readings for the community.

Art imitates Life. Life imitates Art. When two actors with a history are thrown together as romantic leads in a forgotten 1930s melodrama, they quickly lose touch with reality as the story onstage follows them offstage. Stage Kiss captures Sarah Ruhl’s singular voice. It is a charming tale about what happens when lovers share a stage kiss—or when actors share a real one.

Doors open at 7:00 p.m. and the performance begins at 7:30 p.m.  Admission is free with a $10 suggested donation.  Advance tickets are available online, in person or by phone at the Miners Foundry, or at the door.
