Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe featuring Nicki Bluhm ~ “My Baby”
The Miners Foundry will present Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe featuring Roosevelt Collier on Friday, February 13, 2015. For nearly three decades, legendary saxophonist Karl Denson has been getting crowds around the world out on the dance floor.
Nowhere has this been more apparent than with his band Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe. Touring relentlessly for the past 15 years and leaving a massive audience in his wake, fans know when KDTU is in town, a dance party will ensue.
Doors open at 7:00 p.m. and the show begins at 8:00 p.m. Tickets are $25 in Advance and $30 at the Door. Tickets will be available online, by phone, or in person at the Miners Foundry, or in person at Briar Patch Co-Op.
Approaching iconic status, Karl Denson has moved bodies and minds dating back to his earliest years with Lenny Kravitz’s band through his ongoing tenure as a founding member of seminal boogaloo revivalists The Greyboy Allstars and his current roll as a member of San Diego dub rockers Slightly Stoopid.
Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe is back on the road for a multi-city tour in support of their latest studio album, New Ammo, an infectious 13-track collection, joined by celebrated sacred steel guitarist Roosevelt Collier.
