The Polish Ambassador (TPA) brings funky, bassy beats and infectious melodies; he will be joined by the smooth, conscious rhymes of the legendary Mr. Lif and the soul-touching vocals of Ayla Nereo to move booties and hearts on the dance floor.
This configuration yields a delicious fusion of electronic dance music, hip-hop, and folk.
Tickets are $20.00 ($75.00 for the benefit dinner and show) and can be purchased here.
The benefit dinner is at 5:30 p.m., doors for the concert open at 7:00 p.m. and the show begins at 7:30 p.m.
For the Polish Ambassador project, born on the richly-colored streets of Chicago and San Francisco, infectious melody is paramount. Warm, analogue dreamwave; mind-altering glitche; world-infused groove; based-fueled breaks; sexified downtempo; electric lullabies; and psy-fi funk are just a few of the genres that have poured from the Ambassador’s soul into earbuds and ghetto=blasters across the galaxy.
This event is a benefit for Common Vision who has inspired and empowered more than 100,000 California public school students to plant more than 5,500 fruit trees. The all volunteer army of modern-day Johnny Appleseeds has collaborated with community groups throughout the state to transform over 200 public schoolyards and community centers from barren urbanscapes into abundant orchards, leaving a lasting legacy of free, fresh food for generations to come.
