The Polish Ambassador ~ Sunday, September 28, 2014

Polish AmbassadorThe Polish Ambassador (TPA) brings funky, bassy beats and infectious melodies;  he will be joined by the smooth, conscious rhymes of the legendary Mr. Lif and the soul-touching vocals of Ayla Nereo to move booties and hearts on the dance floor.

This configuration yields a delicious fusion of electronic dance music, hip-hop, and folk.

Tickets are $20.00 ($75.00 for the benefit dinner and show) and can be purchased here.

The benefit dinner is at 5:30 p.m., doors for the concert open at 7:00 p.m. and the show begins at 7:30 p.m.

Polish Ambassador PhotoFor the Polish Ambassador project, born on the richly-colored streets of Chicago and San Francisco, infectious melody is paramount.  Warm, analogue dreamwave; mind-altering glitche; world-infused groove; based-fueled breaks; sexified downtempo; electric lullabies; and psy-fi funk are just a few of the genres that have poured from the Ambassador’s soul into earbuds and ghetto=blasters across the galaxy.

Common VisionThis event is a benefit for Common Vision who has inspired and empowered more than 100,000 California public school students to plant more than 5,500 fruit trees.  The all volunteer army of modern-day Johnny Appleseeds has collaborated with community groups throughout the state to transform over 200 public schoolyards and community centers from barren urbanscapes into abundant orchards, leaving a lasting legacy of free, fresh food for generations to come.

The Miners Foundry will present The Polish Ambassador on Thursday, October 31, 2019 at 8:00pm.

The Polish Ambassador played to a sold out crowd last Halloween at the Foundry and is delighted to return! This is not a Halloween-themed show, and costumes are optional, as always.

The Polish Ambassador (real name David Sugalski) is raising the bar for what it means to be a professionally touring musician. Sure, the electronic musician lays claim to producing the sweetest beats this side of the Milky Way Galaxy, but the world’s funkiest diplomat is also using his popularity to steer the millennial generation toward a nourishing and sustainable way of relating with art, community and the planet. From birthing the Permaculture Action Movement (a movement where the energy of show/festival goers is catalyzed into community action), to launching a Village Building Convergence in his hometown to creating a program where nutritious beverage options are available at music venues on a routed TPA tour, the ambassador is using his clout to make real, tangible change, and along the way inspiring hundreds of thousands.

Kaminanda’s ever-evolving sound is a playground of original Midtempo grooves, tribal rhythms, Psy-Dub, and lush downtempo textures. His music is designed to take the listener/dancer on a journey traversing landscapes reflecting a myriad of diverse influences; a kaleidoscope of warm melodies and twisting, winding compositions. With six albums in his repertoire, this organic spaceship of frequencies balances musicality and ethereal soundscapes to evoke a deeper and hypnotic experience.
