ABOUT

Fans of rock-n-roll guitar will be in heaven  as they join guitar goddesses Gretchen Menn (of Zepparella,) Jennifer Batten (of Michael Jackson’s touring band,) and Nili Brosh (Tony MacAlpine side-woman) as they celebrate evolved guitar with individual performances and a THRILLING collaborative show closer!

The buzz on Jennifer Batten rose from the guitar
underground, and the guitar magazines promptly began chronicling her savvy musicianship and highly original approach to the electric guitar. A major turning point came when she was selected from over one hundred guitarists to play in Michael Jackson’s highly skilled band which toured the world for one and a half years playing for over four and a half million people. Following the Bad tour’s conclusion, Jennifer became one of very few women to grace the cover of Guitar Player Magazine.

Rapidly gaining praise in the world of instrumental rock and beyond, Gretchen Menn isn’t your average guitar hero on the rise. She once flew regional jets to support her six-string habit. She has studied, in equal parts, the music of Mozart, Beethoven, Steve Morse, Frank Zappa, and Jimmy Page. (Regarding the latter composer, she performs the music of Led Zeppelin all over the U.S. with Zepparella.) Perhaps Michael Molenda, Guitar Player Magazine’s editor-in-chief, described Gretchen’s solo music best when he said that she “seeks the unknown by blending disparate jazz, prog, and world-music influences into a tasty, guitaristic thrill ride.”

Nili Brosh is a world-renowned guitarist who is at the forefront of leading a new generation of passionate
and gifted musicians. In 2010, Nili released her debut instrumental album entitled “Through The Looking Glass”, which featured members of her band along with a guest appearance by famed guitarist Andy Timmons. In the following few years, she joined The Iron Maidens for countless performances in the US, and became a member of Tony MacAlpine (Steve Vai, Planet X, CAB)’s band, touring the US, Europe, and Mexico. She has also made guest appearances with Andy Timmons, Stu Hamm, Guthrie Govan, The Aristocrats, and has opened for Yngwie Malmsteen on his 2013 “Spellbound” US tour.
