A natural-born, self-taught musician, Kelly Fleming sees himself not only as an entertainer but also as a goodwill ambassador for Nevada City. Fleming has nevertheless played with local musicians such as Paul Emery and Peter Wilson with whom he shared space at Bennett House Records, their home and recording studio in the ’80s. He has performed with Juliet Gobert, Pete Grant, Tamara Sindorf, Homer Wills and Che Greenwood, and volunteers his time to teach and play at New Folsom Prison.

Boston Ravine is a father-daughter duo based out of Grass Valley, CA. They focus on bluegrass, country, and gospel music. They are inspired by both traditional bluegrass artists such as Bill Monroe, Flatt & Scruggs, and The Osborne Brothers as well as newer artists like Flatt Lonesome, The Grascals, and The Del McCoury Band. The band name, Boston Ravine, was the name given to the original settlements in Grass Valley during the Gold Rush era.

The Ascenders are a multi-genre improvisational family band from Chico, upholding the majesty of music through jamming, shredding and experimental projects.  They appeared at Jerry Bash 2017 and have frequently perform at venues and festivals throughout California for the last several years.

The Second Time Around Band brings the experience of the Allman Brothers Band to Northern California audiences. Second Time Around is a multi-talented force that carries on the vision that Duane Allman had all those years ago: to spread the gospel of American Blues, R&B, & Jazz music to the people.

Deadbeats formed during the Summer of 1994 on the notion they could pull off some reasonable Grateful Dead covers.  Soon it was apparent the band was on to something, a certain indefinable sound and feel that really captures the essence of a Dead show.  Though band members have come and gone over the years, Tom and Gary have remained the core of the band, providing a solid continuity to the Deadbeat sound.  The current Deadbeats line up includes Tom Menig, Eric Menig, Rob Kopp, Peter Wilson, Jenn Knapp, Glenn Tucker, and Darby McConnell.
