Nevada County Pride Festival

We are excited to host the first Nevada County Pride Festival 2023 on August 6th at the iconic Miners Foundry, which promises to be a day filled with joy, celebration, and a shared commitment to inclusivity. Multiple events are in the works for the full day and include:

ACT 1: Early afternoon Youth Talent Show and dance performance hosted by Bright Futures for Youth. Go here to learn more and submit your entry now!

ACT 2: Heather Rogue – Stand-up Comedian, Spoken-word Poet, Activist

ACT 3: Mid afternoon Talent Competition hosted by local drag queen Cloaca and burlesque star Cybil Unrest with Special Guest Judges. We need you in the Talent Show ! Go here to learn more and submit your entry now!

ACT 4: Evening DJ Dance Party with Beth Koppe AKA DJ Mysdefy

• All day silent auction, raffle prizes, vendors and more!

This will be a free event open to all, with a requested donation at the door. Visitors in town for the weekend are welcome.

We can’t do all this without our LGBTQ+ community pitching in to help. We will need volunteers to help us on committees such as: Sponsorships  and Fundraising, Volunteers and Operations, Vendor Coordination, Marketing and Communications and more. Prior experience in these areas is good but not required – we will teach you!
