Rikk Agnew is a legend in many music scenes as a singer, songwriter, composer, multi-instrumentalist, record producer, and visual artist. He is considered one of the architects of the Orange County hardcore punk rock sound. Rikk has been a member of number of influential OC bands, including The Detours, Social Distortion, Adolescents, and D.I. Rikk also joined Christian Death and helped create the landmark Only Theatre of Pain album. In 1982, Agnew released All By Myself, playing all of the instruments on his first solo album. After struggling for many years with addictions, Rikk has emerged stronger than ever, delivering the solid hooks and guitar skills that made him famous.
Originally called Punk Rock Vatos, PRV13 rose from the ashes of two seminal Los Angeles bands, the Flower Leperds and Chemical People. PRV13 recently reunited, opening for Descendents at the famous Catalyst in Santa Cruz. PRV13 consists of Greg Cameron (drums), Bobby Lea (bass), Ted Venemann (guitar), and Jaime Pina (guitar, vocals).
Pug Skullz are a three-piece band from Nevada County, California, specializing in old-school punk. Jarade Lucca (bass) and Doug Gaylord (guitar) met in 2011 and built a solid friendship around a shared reverence for English punk and American hardcore, forming Pug Skullz the same year. The addition of Trevor Thompson (percussion), in 2016, has brought precision and velocity to the forefront. The trio has just finished recording 14 erudite tracks for an upcoming release and are currently dedicating their time to live performance and new material.
