20th Annual Altar Show: Renewal & Remembrance
Beginning Saturday, October 26, 2019, the show features constructions dedicated to persons, memories, concepts and causes. The annual free and non-juried exhibition will be held October 26 thru Sunday, November 3, Noon to 7:00 pm daily. The exhibit is held at the Northern Mines Building at the Nevada County Fairgrounds in Grass Valley, CA. The event is considered a gift to the community from altaristas of the Sierra Nevada Foothills. The public is cordially invited to attend a public reception on Sunday, October 27 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
The 2019 Altar Show is held in association with the Miners Foundry, a nonprofit cultural and educational foundation.
