The festival proudly returns to the historic Miners Foundry Cultural Center from February 20–22, for specific film showings, bringing world-class environmental and adventure films back to the heart of Nevada City. Each year, Wild & Scenic draws top filmmakers, celebrities, leading activists, social innovators, and renowned adventurers to venues throughout Nevada City and Grass Valley, California. This year’s festival will again be available both in-person and virtually.
Recognized as one of the nation’s premier environmental and adventure film festivals, Wild & Scenic showcases outstanding filmmaking, stunning cinematography, and compelling storytelling that inform, inspire, and spark solutions to restore the Earth and strengthen human communities. Festival-goers can expect award-winning films exploring nature, community activism, adventure, conservation, water, energy and climate change, wildlife, environmental justice, agriculture, and more.
