A Downtown Parade, Costume Ball, and Carnevale are featured February 13 & 14, 2016 as this colorful Sierra foothills town again celebrates Mardi Gras in Nevada City. Weekend activities open Saturday night with a Mardi Gras Costume Ball from 8pm to midnight, featuring a live band playing in historic Miners Foundry at 325 Spring Street.
