The Marriage of Bette and Boo by Christopher Durang is a play reading directed by Ariel Elliot.

Tiny Beautiful Things | POSTPONED

BUY TICKETS

BUY ONLINE or CALL (530) 265-5040 Tue. – Fri. 9:00 – 4:00

Tiny Beautiful Things has been postponed due to the COVID-19 Outbreak.

ABOUT

Sierra Stages and the Miners Foundry present a “Theater by the Book” play reading of “TINY BEAUTIFUL THINGS”, directed by Lois Masten on Wednesday, May 20, 2020 at 7:30pm.

Based on the best-selling book by Cheryl Strayed and adapted for the stage by Nia Vardalos, Tiny Beautiful Things personifies the questions and answers that “Sugar” was publishing online from 2010-2012. When the struggling writer was asked to take over the unpaid, anonymous position of advice columnist, Strayed used empathy and her personal experiences to help those seeking guidance for obstacles both large and small. Tiny Beautiful Things is a play about reaching when you’re stuck, healing when you’re broken, and finding the courage to take on the questions which have no answers.

Doors open at 7:00 p.m. and the performance begins at 7:30 p.m.

Now in its 8th Season, “Theater By the Book” is a series of informal play readings for the community co-presented by Sierra Stages and Miners Foundry. Readings occur throughout the year – visit www.sierrastages.org or www.minersfoundry.org for schedules and details.
