The Marriage of Bette and Boo

Sierra Stages and the Miners Foundry are pleased to present the October installment of Theater By the Book on October 19, 2022 in the Osborn/Woods hall at the Miners Foundry.  Doors open at 6:00 p.m., the Theatre opens at 6:30 p.m. and the Performance begins at 7:00 p.m.  The Miners Foundry offers a full bar with snacks available for purchase. Outside food may be brought into the venue but no outside alcohol or glass.

The Marriage of Bette and Boo by Christopher Durang is a play reading directed by Ariel Elliot.

Conveyed in a series of dazzlingly inventive interconnected scenes, this black comedy moves wickedly through three decades of divorce, alcoholism, madness and fatal illness, all of which are treated with a farcical brilliance which mines the irony and humor in these ostensibly unhappy events.
