Summer Nights

July 13, 2022 @ 6:00 PM - 9:30 PM

Join Miners Foundry and KVMR in partnership to present the Spring Street Stage! Full bar outdoors and music all evening.

The Summer Nights in Nevada City celebration, a street festival of art and music, has been an annual tradition in this quaint, scenic, historic – and sometimes quirky – community, for over thirty years. The 2022 event takes place on three Wednesday evenings, July 13, 20, and 27, 2022.

During Summer Nights, Nevada City’s landmark historic district is closed to motorized traffic and filled with arts, crafts, classic cars, food, drink and music. Leading Sierra foothills musicians perform on outdoor stages throughout the downtown area. Hours are 6-9:30 p.m. There is no admission charge.

July 13 | Heifer Belles

The Heifer Belles began as friends getting together for some casual picking and singing.  The result, a blend of back porch Americana, took them out of the living room and into the world to perform their music.  The groups songs range from tongue-in-cheek to heartfelt to socially insightful, a gamut of the human experience in today’s world.  The band, Juliet Gobert, song writer and lead singer plays rhythm guitar alongside Toni Valenta, of the SoCal band Belly Love, who brings her impressive bass and guitar skills in addition to beautiful harmony vocals and,  Nici Van Kreidt, on violin, classically trained from the age of 7 yrs, currently a highly sought after violin teacher, whose influences range from classical to Grateful dead to Django Reinhardt gypsy jazz, rounds out the ensemble with her impeccable style.

July 20 | DJ Sugar Troll

DJ Sugar Troll is one of KVMRx’s most popular DJs!

July 27 | BuckStar

BuckStar is a country/rock/R&B group comprised of brothers Tom and Eric Menig, husband and wife team Jenn Knapp and Rob Kopp, and Larry Tracy.  Since its inception in 2015 the group has released 3 albums and played festivals, theaters, and venues throughout California.
