YubaNet.com and The Miners Foundry Cultural Center invite you to a Pizza & Politics party! Join friends, colleagues, neighbors, or complete strangers to eat pizza and enjoy a civil discussion around the state-wide propositions on your November 2022 ballot.
This is a nonpartisan event intended to unite and inform our community and celebrate making our voices heard by voting this election season. Thanks to our colleagues at CalMatters for the invite to be a part of the Pizza & Politics events.

How to Participate
- If you’re eligible, make sure you are registered to vote and have a plan to vote on or before November 8 https:
- Review the nonpartisan Voter Guide from CalMatters in advance or on your phone or tablet at the venue. Be sure to check out the 90-second proposition explainer videos too. Guides can be found in English or in Spanish.
- Be prepared to keep it civil with these U.S. Courts guidelines:
- Don’t interrupt or talk over one another.
- Listen to one another, even if you disagree.
- Don’t assume what someone else means.
- Ask questions to better understand one another.
- Don’t get personal.
- Don’t make inappropriate comments or expressions.
- Distinguish between fact and opinion.
- Share photos and #pizzapolitics to encourage everyone to vote this election season. You may even see your photo on YubaNet.com.

Miners Foundry Cultural Center
The Miners Foundry Cultural Center is a living historic treasure serving Nevada County as a cultural arts and community events center. More than a venue, the nonprofit’s mission is to preserve, enhance and utilize the historic Miners Foundry for cultural, educational and social activities in Nevada County. It is a symbol of California’s rich historical heritage, providing an educational and social bridge from our past to the present and future.
