Tamara Fouyer
Tamara Fouyer is a longtime local resident who lives in Grass Valley with husband, Jason Fouyer, and their two children.
As a child, she had the fortune to study classical voice and piano under Laura June Breen, who influenced her life and vocal style.
She inspired in Tamara a love of music from classical opera, Broadway to jazz.
She attended college in Spain, and loves to incorporate the Romance languages.
She gravitates toward touching and enduring melodies.
Tamara has performed with Cabernet Duo and Swingtime Jazz Combo at various local venues.
Alan Feeney
Pianist Alan Feeney brings to Nevada County decades of experience in the jazz and pop realms, as an accompanist to vocalists and arranger for theatrical shows and bands of all sorts. Studies at Northwestern U. in Illinois and Boston’s Berklee school of Music formed the basis of a solid musical career even including a stint at the Playboy Club in Wisconsin with the house band. In addition to a fruitful ongoing collaboration with Tamara Fouyer he performs with a number of local bands and has developed a solo pop/jazz act uniquely bridging genres.
